Zum Tag der Städtebauförderung am Samstag, den 13. Mai 2023, finden in unterschiedlichen Stadtteilen Veranstaltungen und Rundgänge statt, die dazu einladen, das breite Spektrum der Stadtteilentwicklung in Leipzig kennenzulernen.
In Grünau wird unter dem Motto „Grünau wächst“ die Grünfläche neben dem Marktplatz auf der Grünauer Allee (ehemalige Konsum-Filiale, Alte Salzstraße 51) im Wohnkomplex 2 ab 12 Uhr mit einem bunten Programm belebt. Eröffnet wird die Veranstaltung von Baubürgermeister Thomas Dienberg.
Verschiedene Grünauer und Leipziger Akteur:innen beteiligen sich mit tollen Aktionen und Angeboten: von Mitmach-Pizza, Kuchen- und Kräuterbasar, Pflanzentauschmarkt, Kindertheater und Graffiti-Action bis hin zu Sport und Spiel, kreativen Mitmach-Angeboten, Musik und Hüpfburg ist für Groß und Klein etwas dabei. Ab 14 Uhr können interessierte Besucher:innen auf dem Rundgang „Aus alt macht neu“ spannende Ecken in Grünau-Ost und Grünau-Mitte entdecken, die zu neuem Leben erweckt wurden als auch werden (Treffpunkt ist an der Rampe zum Übergang der S-Bahn an der Grünauer Allee). Am Infostand des Quartiersmanagements findet außerdem eine Beteiligungsaktion rund um das Thema zukünftige Gestaltung und Nutzung von Grünflächen in Grünau statt, zu der alle Bewohner:innen herzlich eingeladen sind, ihre Ideen und Gedanken beizutragen.

On the Day of Urban Development on Saturday, 13 May 2023, events and tours will take place in various districts, inviting people to get to know the broad spectrum of district development in Leipzig.
In Grünau, under the motto „Grünau is growing“, the green area next to the market square on Grünauer Allee (former Konsum, Alte Salzstraße 51) in Wohnkomplex 2 will come alive with a colourful programme from 12 noon. The event will be opened by building mayor Thomas Dienberg.
Various Grünau and Leipzig actors will participate with great activities and offers: from hands-on pizza, cake and herb bazaar, plant exchange market, children’s theatre and graffiti action to sports and games, creative activities, music and bouncy castle, there is something for young and old. Starting at 2 p.m., interested visitors can discover exciting corners in Grünau-Ost and Grünau-Mitte that have been and will be given a new lease of life on the tour „From old to new“ (meeting point is at the ramp to the S-Bahn crossing on Grünauer Allee). At the information stand of the Quartiersmanagement, there will also be a participation campaign on the topic of the future design and use of green areas in Grünau, to which all residents are cordially invited to contribute their ideas and thoughts.
